Curriculum Vitae
A Cum Laude graduate of the University of Missouri Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance. A member of several ensembles including Five Star Jazz Band, The Musetet, The Artist Community Project, The JD Jazz Collective, KCFLO, and a member of The One O’ Clock Big Band for three years directed by Bobby Watson and Mitch Butler.
I’m passionate about listening to all kinds of music, putting on a good show, and networking with other musicians. I hope to give back to those on the same path of pursuing music.
Experience
Ensembles
Played with FIve Star Jazz Band for two years, a local not-for-profit Kansas City Big Band for students.
Member of ensemble called the Musetet and recorded an EP “Hedges on Hedgerows” freshman year.
Plays for the Artist communtiy Project, an organization that books church performances throughout the Kansas City area organized by Brent Copeland.
Current member of KCFlO, a Kansas City based wedding band organized by Patrick Lentz.
Played in the 3’O clock band for three years at the University of Missouri Kansas City directed by Bobby Watson and Mitch Butler.
Teaching Experience
Played with Future Jazz Camp, and organization led by Marcus Lewis to help younger kids learn jazz.
Studied with Doug Auwarter for two years and John Kizilarmut for a year and a half.
Currently teaching substitute lessons at Music House to students of all ages. Experience teaching lessons online and in person.
Notable Performances
Performed at the Kaufmann Center for the Performing Arts with Five Star Jazz Big Band.
Performed at Jazz and Barbecue for the University of Missouri Kansas City
Played at the Folly Theater for Jazz Night for the University of Missouri Kansas City
Performed several times at White Hall with the 3’O clock band. One amazing night featured Benny Green, Carroll Dashiell, and Victor Lewis.
Played at Grand Street Café for Big Band Night for the University of Missouri Kansas City
Performed at B&B Theaters in Liberty with the Spencer Smith Quintet
Played at Westport Coffeehouse with the JD Jazz Collective

Thrives on balancing multiple responsibilities at once. Balanced working a restaurant job while still being in school and ensembles, and retained my scholarships
